Hyderabad Vs Mumbai - Preview

What will today’s match unfold? Well, Mumbai and Hyderabad are meeting today. When the teams met last time in their first encounter on April 27, both teams were winless from three matches.

Since then a lot has been changed in the world of T20! Mumbai has moved into the top four with five consecutive wins on the other hand Hyderabad has fallen down and occupied one of the two bottom slots.

So the Mumbai team is the favorite for this game. Hyderabad has very bleak chances to make a come back in the league. It is already too late for the Laxman’s team.

When the two teams meet again on Sunday at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad, the host will have little at stake. But Sachin Tendulkar-led Mumbai outfit will be keen to continue its winning streak. They need this win to move closer to the semi-finals.

Gilchrist’s team lacks any credible partnerships. The two wins so far were primarily because of Gilchrist’s batting. Herschelle Gibbs, Scott Styris and Shahid Afridi have so far proved themselves failures and not any support to their team. So today too, the home side looks weaker.

On the balling side too team does not have much options. The poor bowling by bowlers like Rudra Pratap Singh has proved very expensive in last games.
