Frequently asked questions

Is War of Cricket free to play?

Yes. War of Cricket: Duels is completely free and always will be. There is no install, no download, no store, no account, and no real-money gameplay — you press play in the browser and start batting.

Do I need to download or install anything?

No. War of Cricket runs entirely in your web browser using 3D WebGL graphics. It works on desktop and mobile in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge — nothing to install.

How do you play War of Cricket: Duels?

Pick one of ten country sides, read the colour-coded pitch marker to judge the length, then time your shot on the shrinking timing ring. Nail the timing to middle the ball and clear the rope for six.

What is the Daily Ball?

The Daily Ball is one seeded delivery each day that is identical for every player on Earth — the same swing, spin and length worldwide — so scores are directly comparable. It is fully reproducible and replayable.

What game modes are there?

Four: Quick Duel (bat versus bowler), Nets (free practice, no wickets), Daily Ball (one shared delivery worldwide), and Five Over (a short innings chasing a total).

Is the cricket physics realistic?

Yes. Ball flight is deterministic and physically modelled — seam swing, drift and turn off the pitch are simulated, not faked — so a good-length ball at 142 km/h behaves like the real thing.

Can I play War of Cricket on my phone?

Yes. It is pure browser 3D and runs on mobile as well as desktop — no app store, no install. Just open game.warofcricket.com and play.
